Purchase fabric as per the size of the window. The fabric should be at least 10 cm wider than the window. You must use fabric cutting scissors to work and cut the fabric smoothly. Then, stitch the edges to get a smooth look.
You must decide the length of the folds and then think of the casing to put in the rod. You can leave at least 4cm at the upper portion for casing. Next draw lines across the fabric’s width and measure the fold’s length that you want. You need to make two lines, one 2.5 down the top line and the other 5cm don. Now make a line between them and sew the folds. Use rings, batons and a Velcro once the entire fabric is folded and your own roman blind is created.
