Stalking: Know It. Name It. Stop It.

Each January, the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) and the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ) Office on Violence Against Women sponsor National Stalking Awareness Month to raise awareness of a serious issue that affects an estimated 3.4 million people over the age of 18 in the United States. Courts Implement New Name-Change Procedures

Safe at Home recently partnered with the California Judicial Council to implement new procedures and outreach efforts following AB 2304 (Chapter 586, Statues of 2008), ensuring Safe at Home participants are protected from publication of confidential name changes in any public forum, including the Internet and court calendars. Help Safe at Home Participants Stay Safe
