New Enrolling Agencies
Safe at Home partners with more than 225 state-designated nonprofit agencies to make program enrollment as easy as possible. Domestic violence shelters, sexual assault crisis centers, district attorneys' offices, family justice centers, and health clinics that serve as enrolling agencies play a critical role in the success of the program by:
- counseling victims about the benefits and policies of Safe at Home;
- assisting Safe at Home applicants with paperwork; and
- providing follow-up assistance.
Safe at Home recently welcomed six new enrolling agencies:
Desert Sanctuary, Inc.
EMQ FamiliesFirst
Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance, Inc.
Riverside County District Attorney’s Office
Riverside Family Justice Center
Southwest Family Justice Center
Do you know of an organization that could be an enrolling agency for Safe at Home? Directors or program managers of potential enrolling agencies are encouraged to contact Safe at Home at safeathome@sos.ca.gov or (877) 322-5227.
Once a potential enrolling agency has been reviewed, an Enrolling Agency Agreement and training request form will be sent to the agency. If accepted, the enrolling agency will coordinate with Safe at Home staff for either on-site training or video training.
